MANDELA WEEK COMMUNITY OUTREACH

IMASA Durban- IMA BAYTUL NUR

IMA Baytul Nur had a busy Mandela Week.
IMASA is always committed to offering help to others, making a smile, giving hope, and serving our communities with compassion.

This Mandela Month, IMA Baytul Nur proudly completed 3 outreach initiatives:

1. Mandela Treat at the Challenge Unlimited Facility
In the spirit of Mandela Month and service to humanity, the IMA Baytul Nur team visited the Challenge Unlimited Facility in Sherwood

Residents received a nourishing meal sponsored by the Caring Sisters Network and coordinated by Ms. Yasiera Suliman.

IMASA staff and volunteers assisted with distribution and packed hygiene packs for each resident. Additional cakes, drinks, fruits and gifts were sponsored by our volunteers.

The visit brought immense joy and companionship. Alhamdulillah, we were able to bring warmth and smiles to everyone’s day.

2. Food Hamper Drive at Stonebridge Primary
IMA and its volunteers visited Stonebridge Primary to distribute food hampers to families in need.

We also provided sandwiches, snacks, drinks and fruit for the school children on the day.
The food hampers were kindly sponsored by the Caring Sisters Network and the drive was organised by Mr Ameen of Being Human.

This initiative aimed to address food insecurity and bring dignity and support to learners and their families.

Our sincere appreciation to: the Caring Sisters Network – for sponsoring the lunch and food hampers
Ms. Fathima Abdulla and Ms. Yasiera Suliman – for organising the outreach initiatives
IMASA Staff and Volunteers – for your time, effort and dedication
Our Volunteers – for sponsoring cakes, drinks, fruits and gifts

“The best among you are those who bring greatest benefit to others.”
