Branch Activities

We thank and praise Allah SWT continuously for the health and opportunity to be part of the IMASA, and be able to serve our various communities Alhamdulillah. May Allah SWT grant us the health and life to continue in this virtuous endeavour Inshaa Allah. We, as a new branch of the IMASA extend our gratitude to Dr Mulla, Dr Noor Mohamed, Khashiefa Martin and the Gauteng Branch for their efforts, guidance and initiation of the Highveld Branch of IMASA in September 2020.

I appreciate and thank my colleagues, friends and members of the Highveld Branch for their support, selfless efforts, enthusiasm and optimism since inception of the branch, Alhamdulilah we could only progress and grow with unity of the group.

We elected a committee by an open vote of IMASA members in October 2021 and have since had regular meetings at the Bambanani Medical Centre and via ZOOM with our Executive and working committee in attendance. We urge local members to join and help us initiate more needed projects within our community. An official IMASA Highveld bank account was established and currently managed by our Treasurer, Fathima Reshid.

As a footing and initiation, we established and identified various sponsors of different requirements for the Branch and we hereby extend a heartfelt gratitude to Bamabanani Medical Centre and their staff, Arrie Nel Pharmacy in Eastdene and their staff, IPS fund and their administrators, AnNaasirat and various ladies’ forums, Saverite Supermarket, and various donors of time, finances, advice and Duas. Shukr, Alhamdulilah all of the mentioned events, drives and efforts were an amazing success in the response from the community and in unifying the community at large.

The response was overwhelming from donors, helpers, advisors and recipients. We make shukr to Allah SWT for health and success since inception of our branch, and we make dua for health and life to grow and progress from this humble base Inshaa Allah.

We have hosted a few successful projects and programmes
