‘Lighthouse’ in Gauteng COMING SOON

IMASA Health Hub

The Islamic Medical Association of South Africa (IMASA) brought together healthcare professionals, ulema, business leaders, and community members for an opening Dua at the Health Hub in Parktown.

The aim was to educate, support, and create sustainable projects to benefit all humanity

Imaan drives the intention behind IMASA, which was developed to enable Muslim healthcare professionals to use their skills in community service through various projects and partnerships, providing general medical education and social support systems for Muslim healthcare professionals, creating a “lighthouse” in the community where people can seek help when needed.

“We must be like a beacon of light which changes the people around us, the society around us. So Alhamdulillah, inshallah, this center is a health hub concept where it’s a center of light, it’s like a lighthouse in this area. And people will be drawn to it, like a moth is drawn to a flame. That I can get help there. If they don’t know where to go, I can go there” (Dr Shoyab Wadee)

Intention and Unity – Maulana Shabier Saloojee
Moulana expressed joy at the gathering, recalling how IMASA’s foundations were laid years ago. He emphasized several crucial points:
● Just as previous generations maintained the Deen, today needs require utilizing available resources for the sake of faith
● Both capital and professionalism are essential for success

Intention is paramount: “If you want help of Allah, help your brothers”
● Divine reward awaits doctors who treat Muslim and non-Muslim patients alike
● Islamic ethics must remain central to all endeavors
● Every person possesses unique expertise that can contribute to the project’s success
● Resources belong to Allah—their correct use brings benefits, while misuse incurs divine displeasure
He made dua for the project’s success and for relief of suffering Muslims globally, calling for unity in service to mankind.

Intention to name the boardroom after the late Dr Yakub Moosa Essack

Dua – Mufti RadhaulHaq
Ya Rabb Karim, accept Islam and let it flourish. Yaa Rabb Karim, through this, grant benefit to all people.
Grant everyone the opportunity to do good work with good intentions and sincerity. Those who are cooperating and helping, grant them goodness in their wealth, their children, their homes, and grant them all kinds of success. Wherever Muslims are in trouble, remove their troubles. Especially in Gaza, Afghanistan, Burma, Sudan, may Allah protect the Muslims. May Allah create unity among the Muslims. And may Allah protect the Muslims from the evil of the enemies. May Allah protect the religious freedom in this country.
May Allah remove all the difficulties. May Allah protect everyone from the evil of the enemies. May Allah protect all the religious schools, mosques, and religious schools in this country. May Allah protect all the religious organizations, all the religious organizations and grant them all kinds of success.
May Allah grant all the businessmen, the rich, and the poor, the opportunity to spend in the way of Allah.
May Allah create unity among them. AAMEEN
In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
