The months, weeks, days, and hours leading up to our annual conventions are typically filled with anticipation, dedication, and perseverance.

Each committee member invests their time and energy to ensure the successful execution of a remarkable, well-attended, and highly satisfactory conference. With hard work and pride in providing a quality conference to our delegates, we enjoyed every minute of coming together and delivering Alhumdulillah.

This year’s convention was well attended, with 235 Medical Delegates and 60 Allied professionals. The Academic program was thoughtfully designed to cater to all specialties, as IMASA warmly welcomes medical professionals from various faculties. 

The CPD accreditation offered a total of 16 medical and ethics points, with additional questionnaires resulting in close to 23 points in total. Our medical sessions were enriched by the introduction to the Cardiology Curriculum. We are planning to build on this in upcoming CMEs and also extending this idea to other medical and surgical specialties. One of the highlights of the convention was a captivating plenary session that delved into the intriguing topics of sleep disorders, long covid, vaccines, endocrinology, palliative care, mental health and artificial intelligence. These sessions left our delegates thoroughly engaged and eager for more. Overall, the convention was a resounding success, attracting a diverse range of medical professionals and offering valuable educational opportunities. We look forward to continuing to provide enriching experiences and fostering professional growth in the field of medicine.
